Naked Smoky Palette, Urban Decay, £38.

Pictured here, Radar and Dirtysweet, my two top colour picks from the palette.

So, I know, you've probably read loads of Naked Palette reviews, or have one yourself and can't get enough of it, but I absolutely love mine and I'm going to tell you why ...

The range of shades featured in Naked Smoky is Urban Decay's best selection yet. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the colours in 2 & 3, and I never thought I'd say it, but I can't deny that the rosy hues of Naked 3 are somewhat limiting.  This is where Naked Smoky has stormed into the lead for me. It has essential daily nudes to the far right of the palette, gorgeous shimmering colours to the left, and deep, sultry smoky hues in the centre, what more could you need?
It may seem hard to top the gorgeous brushes that come with UD's previous palettes but, oh boy do Urban Decay manage it. This brush is quintessentially the best eyeshadow brush I've ever used. It has a soft, wide yet precise shading tip, ideal for blending all over colour, and a small, precise and short-bristled end that is perfect for intensifying crease colour and adding a smoky line to the upper and lower lashes.
If you're not already sold, the packaging is beautiful. The idea of smokiness is reinforced by the semi-opaque plastic used in both the palette itself and on the brush handle.
The one downside would be the price, at £38, it's not cheap, but is it worth it? Undoubtedly. Long-wearing, intensely pigmented and a diverse colour selection; this palette is perfect. (I think you get by now that I adore it - can you be in love with eyeshadow? Totally.)
My favourite shades are Combust, a warm peachy-pink that teams brilliantly with MAC's Honeylove lipstick (see my Matte Edit post here) and the shimmering perfection of Radar and Dirtysweet top my list of eye colour must haves.
